The bench type press Polystat 200 T

The bench type press Polystat 200 T has platen sizes of 250 x 250 mm with a working area of 200 x 200 mm and can be used to produce a variety of flat samples in the laboratory.

The machine is laid out as a four-column-press with high pressure hydraulic and compact dimensions. With an integrated and smooth running hydraulic system a hydraulic pressure of 400 bars allows a press force of 200 kN (working pressure 500 N/cm²).

Press force can be set between 10 and 100%. Leakages are compensated automatically. Optionally an electronic pressure control and several hydraulic modifications can be done according customer requirements.

Press plates consist of several layers. The steel press plate is flat ground and includes a water cooling system for high cooling rates under constant pressure. An automatic cooling cycle can be delivered optionally.

The heating plate is made of aluminium with integrated long-life heating cartridges to achieve equal temperature distribution. Electrical power of 4 kW in each plate insures a temperature gradient of 10°/min and a maximum temperature of 300°C. Heating is controlled by µp-controller and solid-state-relays for a precise temperature distribution of +/- 2,5°C on the working area.

The two stage press Polystat 200T/2 has a second stage (lower stage for water cooling only).

Optionally the lower stage can be equipped with heating plates.

The control panel is mounted directly to the press unit with an easy access to all electrical parts and hydraulic units for maintenance purpose.

The optional Polycontrol is a combination of touch screen and PLC-control for comfortable operation of the machine. The functions can be operated from different screens. An intensive use of graphic elements provides easy operation. Polycontrol includes a set point management with time sequences and several helpful functions for the daily use in a laboratory.

For the safety of the operator closing of the press is done with a two hand operation. If necessary the machine can be delivered with a safety cage and a light beam.

Machines are delivered complete with all integrated controls and hydraulic.
